RACV Launches Live Traffic Information for Member

Following the launch of Suna Traffic Channel in August of this year, RACV took steps to be the first Roadside Club in Australia to provide live TMC traffic & travel information to their members.

The live traffic information provides RACV members with:

	Melbourne Traffic conditions - traffic congestion information is displayed on a map using a simple road colour scheme to indicate prevailing travel speed.
	Live incident information – traffic incident information is displayed through a series of simple traffic icons that show the location, type and extent of the delay on the road(s) selected.
	Traffic Search – giving the ability to search for traffic conditions along a chosen route.

In addition, members have the ability to register for the soon to be released RACV mobile traffic service where traffic information is accessible via mobile phones.

RACV is committed to providing value to its members and improving their journey experience. The launch of RACV Traffic provides members with access to detailed traffic information covering freeways and arterials through out the Melbourne metro area. RACV Traffic in combination with trip planning services will assist members to travel safer and help to reduce the stress and frustration off being stuck in unexpected road congestion.
