Adam Game Chief Executive
Officer Adam Game has been CEO of Intelematics
since January, 2000, where he has been responsible for
guiding the company in the transition from R&D to
commercial deployment of its services and technology. Adam
has been involved with the introduction of advanced
infotainment services to Australian passenger vehicles
since the early 1990s, when on behalf of Telstra
Corporation, he kicked off the venture that would lead to
the introduction of car navigation to the Australian
market. That venture, now a business unit of Sensis, is now
a profitable supplier of navigation databases to all major
navigation platforms in the Australian market. The complex
set of alliances, technology, customer expectations, and
commercial issues that beset the introduction of navigation
to the Australian market are now closely paralleled, half a
decade later, with telematics. Originally qualified as an
urban planner at Melbourne, with a Masters degree in urban
economics from Cambridge (UK), Adam has worked in various
consulting & senior management roles spanning strategic
planning, new media, geographic information systems, an
in-vehicle technologies.
Brian Smith General Manager
Traffic & Content
With a broad background in product development, management
and marketing, Brian has been directly involved in the
development and operation of many of the leading products
in the digital directory and mapping area in Australia over
the last 20 years. Prior to joining Intelematics Brian was
responsible for developing Whereis.com and Whereis in car
navigation as well as being instrumental in the development
of White and Yellow Pages to electronic online directories.
He also lead the team responsible for the first location
based mobile phone applications launched in Australia
including 'Find the Nearest" and "Get Map &
Directions".
Mark Whitmore General
Manager Products Mark has over 14 years experience
in the development of advanced telecommunication products
and services. Before joining Intelematics Mark held a
number of senior Product Management positions within the
Internet and mobile data divisions of Telstra. Mark also
spent time working for Webraska Mobile technologies, a
world leading provider of location based service
technologies.
Stephen Owens General
Manager Program Delivery
Since his involvement in the market entry of vehicle
navigation to the Australian market (working with Telstra),
Steve has held a number of senior Project Director roles in
the IT consulting sector. Steve was instrumental in the
management and development of the award winning ATSH
recently deployed by Intelematics.
Matthew Hansford General
Manager Business Development Matt has extensive
experience working in "call for service" operations and is
responsible for the project management and delivery of
Intelematics' new customer programmes. Before joining
Intelematics, Matt was responsible for the delivery of
large scale projects relating to customer service
mechanisms and service delivery algorithms for companies
such as RACV. Matt is also Intelematics' representative on
the ASIAL Steering Committee.
